Final Assembled A380 starts Flight Testing

The A380 is the modern iconic superjumbo. Officially launched in 2000, First Flight occured in 2005 followed by the first Delivery in 2007. Some A380 parts where too big for the recently launched Airbus Beluga back then, so Airbus had to develop a brand new Transportation Logistik system, that also includes ship and by road. Over 230 have been produced with Emirates being the largest Customer having over 100 A380s.

Unforunately, in recent years the industry trend has shown that large Aircrafts such as the A380 are not economically viable. Thus, in February 2019 Airbus officially announced that Production of the A380 will end by 2021, due to a lack of orders from Airlines.
